Restaurant, Lounge Bar and Public Bar

Our Lounge Bar is cosy and inviting, and as well as being able to choose from a great selection of whiskeys and good beers, you will also be able to enjoy our traditional food menu, catering for those who enjoy good old pub grub.  Our frequently changing specials board will cater for those of you who are a bit more adventurous with your food.

Bar at The Market Inn HotelLunch times will offer the same evening menu, however, if a light lunch is what you’re after, you can select from our light lunch menu, offering a range of light bites such as baked potatoes, nachos, paninis, and soup and sandwich combos.

Breakfast will also be served in our lounge bar, and you will be able to select from a full Scottish breakfast, continental or a selection of you choice from the cooked breakfast menu.

High teas will be on offer at all times, and we will offer great discount prices for large parties, including bus parties.

The public bar is frequented by the friendly locals.  The bar has been kept traditional, and is themed around the nearby farmers market.  Children are not permitted in the public bar.  The atmosphere is cosy and friendly, livening up at weekends, all providing towards a great socialising experience.

Function Room

Our function room being just newly refurbished is an ideal location for all occasions.  The modern décor brings the function room into the 21st century, and creates a fun and lively yet classy and sophisticated theme.  The large bar is ideal for busy functions, so too is the newly restored maple dance floor.  Adequate seating makes room for everyone, and the snug situated just off the dance floor provides privacy, ideal for you to hire for a 30th birthday party, or just for a group night out.
